NVME SSD to USB Adapter

Post by lcoughey »

One of the ongoing issues with NVME SSDs is that they are not easily connected to a system without the appropriate PCIe connections. Perhaps AData's new ASM2362 controller will be the answer to all our troubles.

Hi....I have the same quest and just spoke to Startech. They make a lot of adapters. They expect to be able to have one for NVMe M.2 SSD to USB sometime this year. The representative at Startech said it's a hot item and nobody has one yet, as far as he knows.

I've has good results with the "UGREEN M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure USB C PCIe M-Key Adapter 3.1".
It uses the ASM2362 controller, and works with a WD SN750 500GB NVMe SSD.
