Of course, a RAID destripe to a single drive is not always practical, but there are times when it would make like a lot easier. I have a case now where I have a RAID 5 (6 x 2TB) that is HFS+ formatted and almost full. It could take forever to copy the files out and also poses the challenge of being able to save out to an HFS+ formatted destination drive. I do have MacDrive for Windows, but it would be so much faster to do a sector level destripe to the destination in such cases.
Is there any chance that you could add an option to click on the built RAID and allow us to clone to a single drive or image file?
