We just had a short 2 or 3 minute power outage, during this time, none of the 10 concurrent data recovery projects running skipped a beat. Unlike the old days of data recovery, our systems log everything we do. So, if our systems were to suddenly shut down, they would just pickup where they left off when the power comes back on...though, we would have to manually get each process running again.

Yeah, I learned my lesson about UPS's long ago and now run everything in my lab on one. Saved me countless times with the unreliable power here in RI.
