How to unclok SSHD Seagate ST2000LM010 FW:SDM1

Post by hvd »

Hello

I have a Seagate ST2000LM010 FW:SDM1 SSHD hard disk that it blocks on BSY (I attach the log file in terminal)
I can't read SA or enter Terminal with Ctrl+Z, I read article PC-3000 for HDD. SSHD disks to unclock

https://blog.acelab.eu.com/pc-3000-for- ... -work.html

In Work With Flash Rom image file, I chose: Kahuna CFW patch 1"
It shows error in log:

Error correction ROM data
Error: Can't find patch point 1!
"Kahuna CFW patch 1"............................................: Error

If I choose: Kahuna/GrenadaSSHD CFW/DFW patch 2
It shows error in log:

Error correction ROM data
Error: Can't find patch point 1!
"Kahuna/GrenadaSSHD CFW/DFW patch 2"........................: Error

How to unlock SSHD Seagate ST2000LM010 FW:SDM1 ?

Thank you for your help

That drive is a Rosewood variant, not a Kahuna. I don't recall having to work on this model yet.

PC3000 has the solution in their blog.
You have to edit IAP 1 in ROM.
