Uses for older PC3000 UDMA

We have held onto one of our older PC3000 UDMA boards rather than upgrading it mostly for the idea of keeping it dedicated to older drives that really don't require the newer hardware. But, we have also started to use it for another purpose.

We now use its copy of DE for the final data transfer to client drives, freeing up resources on our other PC3000 systems. We just open the DE task on the older PC3K system, without source connected, and copy the files to the destination. It would be nice if ACE Laboratories would provide us with a stand alone version of DE that we could use on other systems that don't have the PC3K card installed, but this works quite nicely, for now.
