Too bad that it would appear that the bitwar spammer comments are no longer showing on that thread.

It appears that using generic, royalty free (?) images is common practice, even on Western web sites.
For example, the following image (from Wondershare's testimonials) appears in billions of search results:
https://www.google.com/search?hl=en-AU& ... 80&bih=951
Perhaps there is some perceived psychological advantage in associating a text based comment with a human face, even if it isn't real. However, In my case it only served to consolidate my skepticism.

Looks like all major players in Data recovery. Don't forget to put, DiskTuna, DMDE, and GetDataBack on the list.

Point us to one example where Runtime plugs it's software. Point us to one example where Dmitry Sidorov plugs his software. Point us to one example where I plug my tool without me actually helping solve a problem, where I just spam links like we see Stellar, WonderShare or CleverFiles do.
Give me one example of me or the others you accuse of practices like I describe in my blogpost (
https://www.disktuna.com/wondershare-re ... geeks-com/).
Then I am not even addressing false claims yet. Send me a Stellar Repair for Photo key + an actual half grey JPEG that it can actually repair. Because I have tried with many of Jpegs and none of them can be repaired using Stellar's repair tool despite it's claims (
https://www.disktuna.com/wondershare-st ... -scams-or/).
Yes, I do myself participate in forums and threads where people ask for help to address this type of issues once I determined JPEG-Repair can actually help, example
https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/61181653. Often I make repaired files available to OP free of charge.

Why would we list 3 companies whom we have never seen spam from and are regularly recommended by actual data recovery professionals?
All companies and programs listed on the OP are there because they frequently attempted to spam this forum or other forums that I'm personally active on.
