MRT Version 2.1.2.3 Observations

Post by lcoughey »

This is a running list of issues which may change as I play around.
In Data Explorer:
  • Long file path is not fixed, rather than stop putting in a folder path that is not needed, files that exceed the folder path length are just stored together in a separate folder without any folder path (absolutely useless)
  • When splitting damaged files to a separate folder works, no folder path is included (absolutely useless)
  • No simple way to identify damaged files without having to save everything out to a destination drive in two different steps, skip damaged, rename destination folder, save the leftover select files (damaged) to a new folder
  • The file selection process is broken. If you select on the left, it show unselected on the right
  • Selecting to modify MBR on task creation still doesn't work. Need to manually select it again in task settings
  • There is still now way to take system drives as read-only and not to show in DE destination drive list (boot drive is excluded by default)
  • Destination drives from other active tasks still show in the list of destination drives when creating a new task
  • STill no way to save default task parameter settings.
  • Rapid headmap detection in DE for Grenada, at the very least, doesn't seem very rapid
