External drive converted to bootable

Hi. My external drive accidentally became windows bootable drive.
How can I recover the drive without spending money. I am broke and lost my job in covid is there anyway someone can help me

Give it a try with UFS Explorer demo version and see if you can get any files back.
Very important: do not write into the External drive. Backup the data to another HDD.
