Hello Dear Everyone.
My issue goes like this.
I have a hard drive with the following information to know about:
WD: Model WD10JMVW-11AJGS0
DCM: HHKTJHBB
Product of Thailand.
I don't know exactly what its problem is, but the head is stuck and ticking when connecting it to the USB connector.
I checked the platter by look at them after removing the cover, they look fine with no scratches or any other kind of damage.
All I need is to know if it's possible for this type of drives to swap the reading heads with another type, and what should that donor drive be?
Please all I want is to recover the data from the platter, if any would help, I would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance..

As you already opened the drive, can you post a picture of the inside of the drive too?
