When it comes to cloning Ultra Wide SCSI drives, there aren't a lot of hardware imagers designed for handling the unstable drives, leaving data recovery technicians with software imaging programs to handle the work.
I'd like to confirm that the free version of HDDSuperClone is making quick work of a failing 300GB Fujitsu SCSI drive which would pretty much hang my linux system within a few seconds of starting imaging with ddrescue. In fact, ddrescue causes the patient drive to click and thrash while HDDSuperClone is going without any unusual sounds. Of course, that might change when it starts to cut into the skipped zones.
Kudo to @maximus for the development.
